Environmental Claimant
If you have been environmentally exposed, either through living with an employee of the mine, living near an asbestos mine or mill, you might be able to claim. Choose an option below for more information.
Occupational Claimant
If you have been exposed at Koegas or Prieska, please choose an option below for more information.
We will require the following documents to prove your exposure and validate your claim:
- Certified copy of your ID
- Completed asbestos questionnaire
- Proof of Exposure from a family member who worked on the mines (mine record or correspondence) or
Proof of environmental exposure due to living on or near a mine/mill - Medical reports confirming diagnosis of Mesothelioma
- If you have made an application to either the Asbestos Relief or Kgalagadi Relief Trust – all correspondence (paperwork) should be provided
If deceased, the next of kin may make a claim if the date of death is in the last 3 years. We will require the following documents to prove your exposure and validate your claim:
- Certified copy of ID
- Certified copy of Death Certificate
- Completed asbestos questionnaire
- Proof of Exposure from a family member who worked on the mines (mine record or correspondence) or
Proof of environmental exposure due to living on or near a mine/mill - Medical reports confirming diagnosis of Mesothelioma
- If they have made an application to either the Asbestos Relief or Kgalagadi Relief Trust – all correspondence (paperwork) should be provided
